Chai Bars.
Spicy. Sweet. Simple.
You can find the recipe, together with some thoughts on kitchen organization at www.brooklynlimestone.com, where the lovely Mrs. Limestone has asked me to contribute a guest post. Be sure to check out her fantastic house while you’re over there — it’s jawdropping.
You can also find the recipe <a href=”http://www.thedomesticfront.com/recipe-index/recipe-chai-bars/”>here</a> though you won’t get my lovely prose.
I’ve never had those kind of bars before, they look great. I especially like the frosting part!
Thanks for sharing!
That gadget looks very intimidating but I think I want one! I bet it works awesome!
Those chai bars look delicious!
Jenn — I made up the recipe because of my love of Starbucks Chai Lattes! I took the Starbucks Chai blend (which is heavy on the spice) as inspiration.
Stacey — It’s a Double Pastry Wheel and it showed up in my Christmas stocking last year (I asked for a pastry cutter of the dough blending variety). It’s terrific, but a pizza cutter will do in a pinch.
These chai bars look fantastic!! I’m heading over to check out the recipe now. Chai spice is one of my favorite things, so seeing it in a bar is quite fabulous! Sorry that I’ve been an absent commenter; I just finished up my law school exams and am finally getting around to my google reader.
Those look fantastic!! I love Chai Tea…and I bet those would be perfect with a cup of afternoon tea!
A woman after my own heart! Chai bars… simply lovely!
Cheers,
*Heather*
Thanks again for guest posting!! You have to come over and organize my spices now 🙂
